Hi folks! We were in Nashville this past weekend & took the "Combo" tour.
We selected the Discover Nashville & Legends Tour on Friday & the Historic Tennessee on Saturday.
The "tour guides" were wonderful, which made our tours enjoyable and very interesting. Not to forget and mention the fabulous 60 degree weather we had while there..

Thank you for getting in touch. I wanted to say thanks for the fantastic tour you gave us the other day. It really was one of the best and most interesting talks I have had in the many tours I have done around the world over the years. I wanted you to know that the reason I felt your tour was so wonderful is that you spoke honestly, with a great deal of personal knowledge and most importantly, you spoke from the heart and with so much passion. I learnt so much from you and felt I wanted you to know that.
We were staying in the Hilton hotel, and went back to the Ryman Theatre for our photographs to be taken on the stage. (What an honour that was !!!) When we returned to the Hilton later in the afternoon, we saw Little Richard checking in, he was staying on our floor too.... what an end to an absolutely fantastic day.

Are there any tourism awards in Nashville that I can nominate Grayline for?
Due to airline delays we did not reach Nashville until 8:30 pm on Sept 8. We were booked on the Grand Ole Opry tour – the whole reason for our trip to Nashville. We didn’t believe that we had a hope in hell of making the show. Whilst my husband retrieved our bags from the conveyor, I scouted the airport looking for a Grayline office. My luck had finally
changed. When I explained to the lady on the desk our predicament and the fact that we staying in downtown Nashville and wouldn’t have time to take our bags into the hotel and then get a cab back to the Grand Ole Opry, she sprang into gear. She arranged for a bus to pick us up within 5 minutes, take our bags to the Grayline office and drop us at the show. That driver had to show us where the pickup point was for a Grayline bus after the show. They would then pick up our bags from the office and drop us at our hotel. How amazing. This was organized in less than five minutes….and she pulled it off. We walked into the Grand Ole Opry with two minutes to spare. After the show our cases had already been picked up and we hopped on the bus with them and was delivered to our hotel. We have traveled extensively all over the world, and I can say Grayline has always been our preferred sightseeing tours. After service like this, we will continue to travel with them and promote them to all our friends. And to top it all off, playing at the Grand Ole Opry that night was Catherine Britt, an Australian, the cousin of our good friend in our home town. Catherine was a last minute inclusion and we have followed her career, so we were thrilled to bits to see her perform on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. Thank you Grayline!!!
